I have an acer monitor that I had been using with a GeForce GT 610 graphics card at a resolution of 1920 X 1080. When connecting the same monitor to my new pc, with a GeForce GT 640 graphics card, I am getting faint gray diagonal lines through the display when at a resolution of 1920 X 1080. Lower resolutions are fine. I've checked all the cabling and know that the monitor itself is still fine. I have also updated monitor and graphics card drivers. Thanks in advance for any help.

Solution
I would consider two things:

1- Swap the cable for another one (you do not specify the connection)

2- Change to a different connection (if using HDMI, change to DVI or vice versa).

If neither of these work, please post a screenshot of the lines.
