Monitor having blue and yellow vertical lines. What is the problem?

I am having a problem with my monitor. It has blue and yellow vertical lines - two of them. Is there any way to get it repaired or do I have to get a new monitor?

I have a Dell 24" LED Full HD Monitor. It has a warranty but they don't give a new monitor as per the warranty nor do they repair the monitor. They only give a refurbished monitor instead.

I don't want the refurbished product as I live in India. I don't know how long the refurbished product works or if it gives other problems.

Monitors can normally be repaired.
In your case it's probably the controller board, or there is either a short or a bad connection on those two lines.
My guess would be that there should be many people in India that can repair monitors as you would prefer to repair than replace, given that most products are imports.
