Monitor HDMI port will recognise Xbox, but now PC

Mnitor/TV will recognise my xbox hdmi input, but it will not handshake with my pc. Cables work fine, I've tested with another tv and it recognises my pc

My pc will not update my monitor drivers. As a result, only on hdmi port is working and is has a very fuzzy display. I'm using a samsung UE32f5000ak, and nvidia recognises that this is a samsung display, buy under device management, my pc only sees it as a generic pnp monitor...any ideas on how to fix?


EDIT: the firmware on the monitor is the most up to date and I graphics drivers are up to date.

Only one of my hdmi ports seems to recognise my PC now. When connected the display is very hazy/pixelated. My other monitor is fine and alll drivers have been updates for the nVidia card im using. Any ideas what is wrong>

My tv has two hdmi inputs, the main one that give a sharp crystal quality picture and a second in that gives a very grainy/hazy picture.

The problem is that the monitor will no longer recognise any signal from the main input from my pc. The port works fine as I connected up my Xbox and it works fine using it. So why will it no longer do the handshake with my pc?

All drivers are up to date, I’ve used several hdmi cables and a hdmi-dvi cable, tried two graphics cards too. I’ve also tried restoring the tv/monitor to factory settings a few times.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
