I was wondering if any one could give me advice about a sony SONY CPD-G420S monitor and a Iiyama VisionMaster Pro 454. I was thinking about geting the Iiyama because of the good reviews I have read about them and good customer feedback but then I noticed it only has 25mm dot pitch where as the sony has 24mm dot pitch. I was hoping someone who owns a Iiyama VisionMaster Pro 454 has owned a sony monitor and could tell me if the picture quality is better. Any advice on which I should get would be helpfull. Thank you

I used to have a 21" IIyama. I really liked it. Friend of mine has a 19" Sony which I ALSO like. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Alas, the 21" IIyama was crushed at the bottom of the pile :frown:

It's always the one thing you never suspected.

I bought a 17" Iiyama (model 413 pro)
I based my decision on reviews I had read
Everything was very good except:
geometry problem at the upper left corner
text seemed blurry in the center of the screen compared to my previous 5 year old 15" SONY at 1024x768 and above
and the OSD wasn't very friendly
so I decided to replace it and I got a 17" SONY G220
I'm very happy that I did
It's almost perfect especially text is very clear
Even at 1280x1024 text is absolutely readable
It's like my vision has improved, honestly
I don't want to be unfair with Iiyama maybe the problem
was with the specific piece that I bought and could be resolved
I hope I was helpful
