Hello, I'm pretty new to the community but I've been reading a ton. I know this may be a repetitive question, but for someone who uses their PC as a gaming PC primarily (Skyrim, BF3, portal 2, SC2, Dota2), although I also watch a lot of Netflix and generally surf the web with it, what's the better monitor (for me)?

ASUS VS248H-P Black 24" 2ms HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1

I know most of the differences between IPS and LN- and that the dell is an e-IPS which is the least advanced of the group. I guess I'm just having trouble actually making the choice, and any input from the community would be greatly appreciated.
Here's where I am right now:
Dell: I know that the dell will have better viewing angles, same number of display colors as other 2, a longer response time (8 vs 2 ms), and is 90$ more than the others (deal on newegg for the dell right now, and for the VS248H)
ASUS VW246H: Awesome reviews on Newegg, 1500 and still 5 stars. Response time is good. Just seems like a solid monitor, but it does come with speakers and I just bought new speakers like 2 months ago.
ASUS VS248H: Good response time, statistically better contrast ratio than the vw246h, but there are a lot of dead pixel/doa reviews (relatively).
I have been thinking about this for a while now and almost bought the dell, but started having second thoughts when I found out it's only technically IPS, thanks for any incite you guys might have. Please make suggestions too if you'd like, I have looked around quite a bit already though (price range is 200-300$)
Also, am I just missing it or is there a sub-category for monitors?
