Monitor Help please

Hi everyone, i recently upgraded to windows 10 and my main monitor won't detect. My crappy second monitor detects and its connected to my mobo. My main one is connected to my gpu and it won't detect. Everything was fine before i updated.

Are you by chance using a tv for a monitor. A little more info would help.

I have an ASUS VG248QE

i would start by unplugging the monitor for a minute or so then plugging it back in. What is your graphics card?

Ive tried un-plugging than plugging it in about 5 times already, and I have a gtx 750 ti

Ok do you have nvidia experence if not i would get it and make sure it says
the drivers are up to date

Could that be why the gpu isn't detecting my second one? Im updating them as we speak

Well ok lets look at it this way
monitor 1 works directly from the mother board
monitor 2 isnt working through the GPU
so
1. will monitor 2 work connected to motherboard?
2. will monitor 1 work connected to GPU?
if 1 is yes and 2 is no then its the GPU which prolly means a driver issue since you just upgraded to windows 10 its not a stretch
