Monitor hook up

I would like to hook up my ACER K272HUL monitor to a ACER H226HQL The K272 has a DisplayPort OUT on the back and the H226 has a DVI input. I have seen DisplayPort to DVI cables online. Could this work?

nope as cannot daisy chain monitors together.
