Monitor I purchased has me worried (response time)

So I may have jumped the gun a little bit and ordered a monitor not really fit for gaming because it was on sale. I have been doing some reading about response time and input lag, and while I do not know about the input lag on this particular monitor, the response time is rated at 14ms. Could someone in the know let me know how bad I fudged this one? I am hoping it is a non factor and the monitor is okay but I may go ahead and try to contact newegg before it ships. Anyways, this is what I ordered..

Well for gaming you want anything under 5ms, so i would return it if i where you. Or if you can live with ghosting ingame etc you can keep it 😛

Cheap IPS monitors are not good gaming monitors. Please reconsider.

Find something under 5ms/IPS and you should be good to go. TN panels look meh to me
