Monitor: Gigabyte Aorus FI27Q IPS QHD

I bought this monitor used on eBay about a week ago and I can't seem to get the blacks to look good, I've tried setting the same settings as on RTings and I've fully reset the monitor, I just can't seem to figure it out. I can get the dark areas to show more detail if I set the black equalizer to 11, but then everything else seems blown out. If anybody has any experience with this monitor any help would be appriciated.

My other point, which isn't an issue, I am just curious as to why it is happening, is the fact that my Playstation 5 seems to support a 4k resolution at 60hz on my monitor. No where online is this monitor advertised as being 4k compatible and when I am on my pc I can't find the option to put it into 4k either. Even weirder, my monitors software also shows it as runnning in 4k. I wasn't able to notice much difference betweek 2k and 4k but I didn't try too hard either, anybody have any idea why this could be happening?

4k?

Sorry for taking the pictures with my phone haha

On the specification page for your monitor, it states that the True Resolution is 2560x1440, which is 1440p/2K, and looking at the ports they support a maximum of 4K at 60Hz for both HDMI and DP.
Your monitor could be lowering its refresh rate to display a higher resolution, then downscale it to 1440p so its really not true 4K.
As for the blacks losing detail I am not sure.
