I own a pre-built PC that I bought off Amazon back in October 2016. I wanted to upgrade it and did such today. Switched out the power supply, upgraded the RAM, and got a new graphics card.

Finished putting the new items in and upon starting up the system I get no response from the monitor. Everything appeared to be connected as far as I can tell. Cables are good and secure. Graphics card, drives, mouse and keyboard have signs of life. I'm lost. Can anyone help?

Specs:
MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 240 (original) ----> Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 (replacement)
RAM: Kingston Hyper X 16 GB (8x2)
PSU: Apevia VN500W (original) ----> Corsair TX650M (replacement)
OS: Windows 10
Monitor: Compaq W17q

Did you reconfigure BIOs to use the GPU?

Failing that, I would start by pulling out the GPU and using the motherboard's integrated GPU.

Appears to be VGA on the motherboard.

Hopefully you will be able to get the monitor to display and begin troubleshooting accordingly.

Try the built in Windows 10 troubleshooters. They may find and fix something.
