Monitor is going to power saving mode after few minutes

I changed my old Nvidia Geforce2 mx 100/200 graphic card with 128mb graphic card. At the first time I can sign in to windows. But next time when I turn on my computer, it can boot to bios and displayed in my monitor, but after few minutes the monitor turns to power saving mode, I have tried to turn off and turn on my pc again but I got same result. Did someone have a solution?

My pc is:
- Samsung Libra -31 PBA: BA59-01014A
- VGA Model 6600 AGP8x 128Mb
- RAM 512Mb
- PSU 450Watt
- OS: Windows Xp Pro SP3

hey what was your previous graphics card? It might be drivers conflicting with your new card.
Remove your card & try to turn on your pc. Let me know if it still causes problem?

Hi, brarboy! My previous graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce2 Mx 100/200. I'm trying to replace the new card with my previous graphic card and I can load to windows without problem. But, after I replace it again with the new card, after Samsung logo I get a black screen and the monitor going to power saving mode.

what is your new graphics card? Is it amd or nvidia again?

It's NVIDIA 6600 AGP8x 128MB TV-Out DVI.

uninstall all previous gpu drivers n reinstall them with your new gpu. If nothing works then just reinstall windows & most probably it will work.
