Hello , so my monitor keeps losing power with a DP cable, keeps going black for a 1sec or 2 goes on again and off again. At first i thought its faulty DP cable, so i ordered a new one, but its all the same . I have tried all DP ports on my GPU no luck . When i use HDMI it allways work fine , never goes black , Only with DP cable, But i want to use DP cable for G-SYNC. Specs -

Ryzen 5 3600
GTX 1660Super6GB
Corsair CX550M
Asus TUF B450 - PLUS Gaming
Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB @ 3200mhz
1TB HDD
256GB Kingston SSD

Monitor : HP 25X 3WL50AAABU

May be heat related; as the computer warms up something expands and starts shorting out.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, etc. that are being captured within that 1 - 2 hour time frame. Reliability History uses a timeline format that may prove helpful in finding any such errors.

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, and jumpers are fully and firmly in place.

Are you able to swap in another known working monitor? Or try your monitor on another known working computer?

Determine if the blackouts follow the monitor or stay with the computer.
