Monitor keeps saying going to sleep

My computer froze last night. I had a guy that said he was cleaning out my computer deleting a lot of stuff and I noticed it had been on the same screen Frozen for at least half an hour so my son opened up the tower and was looking at it and Spilled a whole drink on it. Now all three fans are spinning the computer turns on but the monitor says vgi no signal and goes straight to sleep. I can't tell if the mouse is working or not because it doesn't have a light on it and the keyboard occasionally lights up but not most of the time. Any ideas? I'm sure everything's properly plugged in and I have tried to chords that go from the monitor to the computer

Liquid and PC's don't mix at all.
