The other day I was playing arma 3 and my monitor and periferals went dead. I reset and started windows update and Geforce experience but then the computer froze. I reset again but since an update was in progress I corrupted the OS and had to format. I install Windows 10 and download Gforce experience but 30 percent into install the monitor loses signal and the periferals stop working every time. PC is still on so are the fans and all the rgb on the Mb, ram and gpu. I can surf the net etc but as soon as I try to install geforce this happens.

I have tried each stick of ram individually and in different slots and the issue happens each time. I don't really have any other hardware to swap in to diagnos farther.

Ryzen 1700x
Gtx 1070
Asus rog mb
16gb Gskills rgb ram (the Intel version but only the rgb color change ap apparently bricks it and most people have it working with amd provided they don't adjust the color)
Windows 10 home 64 bit
850w psu evga gold rated

I suspected it was a stick of ram but now I am wondering about what the chances that each stick would display the exact same issue, I also tried them singly in the other channel slot A

I was thinking it might be the graphic card but it still works...at least until I try to install drivers...and why would the card shut off the USBs?

Could be SSD, but I managed to install Windows and all the updates.

I als unplugged the psu and discharged it.

Any help would be welcomed.

edit: I hadnt installed all drivers after the format so I installed the ryzen master driver and the motherboard USB, chipset, audio, USB etc and the mouse and keyboard still lose power during the geforce install but instead of no signal for the monitor it just goes black. I tried turning it on and off-still black.

so I realized that razer synapse wasn't installed and perhaps that is what is causing my mouse and keyboard to turn off. I then searched out the nvidia drivers on their website to bypass geforce experience and did a clean install. This time when the screen shut off it came back on and the periferals just flickered and it finished installing.

Everything seemed fine until I went to run benchmark software and the monitor lost signal and the keyboard and mouse turned off lol. The light at the top right corner of the Mb that goes from red, blue to green n startup was pulsing yellow after the monitor turned off
