Hello

Today i changed my hdd wich doesnt had anything on it besides of games and movies and formatted it (while on windows)

So right now at startup says none of my HDDs have an O.S installed, well i dont care but in the background a problem started (the monitor lose signal randomly)

So i decide to format the PC entirely because its about time but that monitor problem doesn't allow me to do almost anything, it loses signal totally on about a minute and it just gets solved shuting off or rebooting the PC

It loses the signal even on BIOS, totally

What can it be, does someone know what can i do, is the monitor? the VGA? or the MOBO? it's getting me nuts, i tried to do a total cmos clean and the "unplug power cord and press 30 sec" solution without changes

My rig:
AMD FX8350
Mobo : Asus m5a97 le r2.0
VGA: R9 290
2x 4GB G.skill Sniper
PSU: Aerocool 650W
Monitor: BenQ 24" Full HD

Solution
You have a problem of no display, remove your gpu card and clean it and insert it properly to the slots, then remove the RAM and clean it also and insert it again properly in slots. Use a pencil eraser to clean the contact pin. To test your PC if it will display again remove the hdd connector to avoid damage of hdd during test. If the display will back connect again your hdd. then powerup
