monitor no signal, custom pc

Hi, my newly built custom pc's monitor is displaying no signal, first boot, and the hardware all seem to be working fine, with all fans spinning and the led on the mobo lighting up. monitor is connect via vga. tried reinserting ram, checked cables, checked that cpu is put correctly, checked pretty much everything i could.
Specs:
i7-6700
EVGA 650 watt 80+ gold fully modular
Asus h110m-a
gskill ripjaw 16 gb 2400
aoc monitor
no gpu yet

try using the HDMI output. maybe the VGA output is disabled by default (its older analog technology and companies are disabling this things now)

Try 2133 RAM.
From board's specs:
2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR4 2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
