Today, I installed a new power supply and attempted to install a Geforce GTX 660 graphics card. Now the computer is running fine with the new power supply but when I install the card I plug the VGA into the adapter that came with the card and plug it in the monitor isn't detecting the card. I don't know if it's the card or what because I was running this computer http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5295962&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03499587-9%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken any ideas on how to fix this?

Then if you're sure it's not the cable, adapter, or the PS then it's the video card. You need to put it into another computer and test...
Are you sure you plugged in the Power Connector from the PS to the card? If it's a modular PS then make sure it's also connected to the PS as well. If it is then is the fan blowing when the computer is on? Is VGA the only connector on the monitor, if it isn't then you should be using a DVI or a HDMI connector instead. Cable or the adapter might be bad as well. You didn't say what size the PS was either. If you think it's the card then find a friend and have him put it in his computer to see if the card works. Also make sure your card is firmly connected all the way down in the mobo.

Bean007 pretty much summed it up for what you should check on, but from my experience the ASUS GTX 660 card has a LED indicator near the 6 pin connectors and if the plugs are installed correctly then the light will be green and if it installed incorrectly the light will be red.

The power supply is a Corsair HX650. I bought it as a bundle so I know it should work. The connection from the PS to the card was fine. I heard the click in on the motherboard and the PS to the card. I did buy this from NewEgg and I know they are notorious for man handling items. I may try what LucuasMC17 said and check for lights tomorrow.

Somehow, I thought you said ASUS GTX 660. Not sure if by coincidence you actually do have the ASUS card. I would suggest double checking the connections from the PSU and checking the connectors from your PC to your monitor. One way to check if Power is getting to your GPU is to see if the fans on the Graphics Card are spinning.

Asus is GeForce. On the Box is says Asus GeForce GTX 660. I Always locked up the case when starting it and I know it's not the connection from the monitor because when I uninstall the graphics card and plug the VGA back into the slot on the motherboard it runs fine.

Then if you're sure it's not the cable, adapter, or the PS then it's the video card. You need to put it into another computer and test it out.
