[SOLVED] Monitor not displaying when olugged into the motherboard!

Hi there,

Until today my pc has been connected to my monitor via a display port cable from the rtx 3070 to the monitor.
I have sent the rtx 3070 to bvidia for a replacement and though I'd be able to simply plug an hdmi cable into the motherboard hdmi port a d it'd work.

No signal is picked up on the monitor and on my motherboard (an aorus 570x gaming trio) the Red led for VGA is showing! I don't know why though because no graphics card is plugged in!

How can I get the monitor to display?

AMD CPUs don't have integrated graphics unless they end with a "G". What CPU do you have? If it ends with "X" you don't have integrated graphics.

Ohhhh, I have a ryzen 7 3700x, so will that not show any image at all?

Nope. It does not have graphics hardware built into the CPU. You will have to get some kind of graphics card or a CPU that ends with "G".
