Question Monitor not getting signal after swapping GPU ?

Hi. Moved recently and after setting up the computer, the monitor wasn't getting signal from graphics card, but with the iGPU the monitor works fine. After following several guides online, it seemed the graphics card was the issue. I was able to swap it out with a second but I'm running into the same issue and I know this second card works. The fans on the card spin up and seems to be receiving power but the monitor still won't detect it. Should mention that the second card isn't plugged into the power supply and is powered through the motherboard. I've tried swapping monitors, cables, and ports and nothing works. I'm really not certain what the issue is now.

The obvious place to start is a full list of the specs, including exact PSU.

Some monitors do not auto select the input.
If there is an on screen control, insure that you have selected the proper connection.
