Monitor not getting signal

My PC was working fine until one day I decided to reverse the CPU cooler, it was jutting into one of the dimm slots but I only had one stick of ram anyways. I was very new to pc building so I don't know to put thermal paste back on to the CPU when replacing a cooler. Long story short I broke a CPU pin off and got a replacement, but when I put it in the monitor wasn't getting a signal.( I know I'm really stupid please don't tell my more but I went through I guide and after I checked to see if everything was right the last thing it
said to check was the cpu. I was very tired and hungry at that point from troubleshooting for about 5 hours and i Idk why but I tried to put the CPU cooler back on without thermal paste. A couple pins bent but I might try to fix it because it's no use to me rn.) I tried multiple monitors so that wasn't the problem there was a red light near the gpu in the motherboard whenever I tried to boot, no beeping. The PSU is the only part I can say was working for sure because all of the fans were spinning. The hard drive plastic price that it used to connect coulve screwed up the motherboard or something idk. I tried my windows boot stick that I knew was working but the computer wouldn't even boot into bios. After all that is when I broke the CPU which means it's obviously broken now but something else is broken inside the pc also. I'm 15 and lost a job, so I'm trying to find a new one. I am trying to figure out what parts i need to get because I would not like to waste 100-150 dollars on a part I don't need. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Ok, I've erased everything I just wrote because I think I finally understand what you're trying to say. The problem has nothing to do with getting a signal from your pc to the monitor, the problem is your pc isn't even POSTing. Because, it sounds like you you've completely FUBAR'd your processor. And if you bent pins on the cpu by attaching a cooler, that tells me you never had the CPU seated in properly from the start. No CPU, no pute-pute signal. I highly suggest you seek out a friend who actually knows what they're doing to take a physical look at your PC. I'd even suggest asking your computer teacher at school, but alas it's summer. doh!

You may need a new CPU and possibly a new motherboard if you really did break something else...

You may need a new CPU and possibly a new motherboard if you really did break something else on it. Without seeing it for myself I can only take a stab in the dark.
