Hey guys I have an interesting dilemma here.
Recently bought a new psu and 4gb of ram just as a present to myself
The psu is the Seasonic M12 Bronze Evo Edition 620 W and the 4gb ram stick is a Crucial one.
After plugging everything in my computer boots but no connection to either of the two monitors I have hooked up. My specs are the XPS 8700 with Geforce 970 4gb gpu and stock psu and motherboard(additionally I can prob find more specs if needed)
Things I have tried:
Using my old PSU-still no connection
Using old GPU and PSU-still no connection
Swapping Cables-nothing
Taking out the new ram-nothing
Held power button 30 to 50 seconds-nothing
Thats all I can think of atm.
Finally I tried using my onboard motherboard graphics which WORKED. So I narrowed it down to a GPU problem. The confusing thing is that both GPUs I have tried won't connect. So I'm stuck thinking I'm not seating the cards properly or not using the power cables correctly(even though my older GPU doesn't need additional power). Any help would be appreciated.
