[SOLVED] Monitor not showing anything when i upgraded my CPU.

Hi, so I upgraded from i3 4150 to i5 4570. When i boot my PC the screen is just black but when i place my old CPU back in it works.
My motherboard is ASROCK H81M VG4.

Does the PC turn on? (as in do the fans start or does anything light up?) If it does then is your monitor connected to a discreet GPU or the mobo VGA port?

The 4570 should work in your motherboard. Is this a pre-built PC (Dell, HP, etc...)? What is the make/model of your PSU? The 4150 is 54W and the 4570 is 84W.

Is the 4570 new or used?

Pc turns on. Monitor is connected to GPU with adapter because my monitor only has VGA.

Might try removing power, and then BIOS battery, clear CMOS.

Reinsert battery, reapply power.

Nevermind i fixed it. I just took the battery from motherboard out and put it back in.
