Monitor not showing image after few"video driver has stopped responding and has recovered" messages

Ok so, screen turns black then after few seconds turns on again with message "video driver has stopped responding and has recovered". Sometimes it just stayed black and i had to restart pc. Worked fine but only first few times. Then after i came from holiday i turned pc on and it booted fine but then froze without me using it and now monitor wont show image. Pc is working fine monitor is good as well. There have been times this happened but after few times trying to get image on screen system recovery has showed up and used backup file after that everything worked fine for 1-2 days. Have tried everything i could find on internet from resetting bios to vacuum cleening whole pc. Any help is appreciated.
