Question Monitor not working after GPU upgrade

Please help,


My monitor flashes "analog" and "hdmi" for a couple times before going completely blank. This happens after I upgrade the GPU. The Mobo I'm using is a bit old it is a Intel Desktop Board DH77DF and the GPU is RX580. I figure it might be because im using a Mobo that is outdated or too small.

One answer I found for someone with that error is reinstall windows, but they had recently made PC and not reinstalled windows after - https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...-a-couple-seconds-before-going-black.3042029/

is cable attached to GPU & not motherboard?

include the make and model of your PSU, apart from it's make and model.

have you tried working with the GPU on a known working donor system? As for the GPU, is it second hand?
