I recently bought an asus 1070 and a thermaltake toughpower 650w and the computer turns on and a tiny white light comes on on the 1070 but nothing comes up on the monitor I connected the monitor to gpu with a dvi cord and someone else recommended that I plug the dvi cord into the motherboard but my motherboard doesn't have dvi hdmi vga or dp I don't know what my motherboard is

What graphics card were you using before the 1070? Put that back in an navigate to your BIOS, it sounds like the BIOS is outputting video on the integrated graphics instead of the graphics card.

660
I did that and it's doing the same thing as the 1070 since I installed the new psu

Motherboard is a 990fx extreme 3 if it helps

No i don't get video when reinstalling the 660 I got video on the 660 when I didn't have the new psu installed
