Monitor not working...

Ok so I just installed a new R9 280 graphics card into my system and fired up the computer but I just get a blank screen. When I turn the monitor on and off it just says no vga signal. I tried pressing the button that switches to DVI and it says no dvi signal. The monitor has power. The new card is powered (fans are turning). The computer seems to be working fine, all the lights and fans are on. I did plug in the 6+2 pin connector. I also tried to connect to both of the DVI plugs on the card, no help.

I did plug and use the motherboard DVI plug, seems to work fine and bring up my desktop. I even tried to uninstall the AMD drivers, no help. What should I try now?

Try going into your BIOS and telling it to use the PCIe card as opposed to the integrated GPU

It's working Turns out I didn't plug in both the 8 pin and 6 pin connector. How do you confirm system is running off the card and not the integrated graphics? If I have it plugged into the card and it's working, does that confirm it already?
