Question Monitor not working

Hi all,
My laptop is running windows 11 but sometimes when I connect my monitor then light on my monitor turns green but the screen is black. The monitor works fine with my MacBook pro.

Make and model of your laptop that's being plugged to an external monitor? Speaking of monitors, what is the make and model of the monitor? Are you using any adapters between the laptop and the monitor?
