I have a cheap Vga 1920x1080 LG monitor and i have heard that vga monitors aren´t as good as DVI Monitors.
My specs are a i5-3330 and xfx r9 270x
I was wondering if i should change my monitor, right now my three biggest options are:

Dell S2240M which is IPS
Benq 2245Z which is VA.
Benq GL2250 I think is TN but not sure.

Is it worth? If you have a better option please let me know, and I dont want anything too expensive because i live in Mexico and prices are higher than in the US.

I was wondering about the response times, the benq says its got 25ms, 6ms (GTG) and shouldn't gaming monitors be >8ms? or is it GTG too?

Thanks!

I have the dell s2240l and i think its simply brilliant. As far as gaming goes it is said that response time should be less than 5ms but all that is relative .Monitor companies readily twist the specs and its difficult to get a clear picture. The va panel is in between the tn and ips in terms of viewing angles
TN:lower response time,less viewing angle,dull colours
VA:better colours
IPS:rich colours,great viewing angles,slightly higher response times
Check out this review which holds for the dell s series

They have this issue of inverse ghosting ,personally i don't think it matters.

In my opinion get the dell monitor because benq va monitors have had issues of being slow for gaming and tn lack the vibrancy .You can get the s2240l if you want an hdmi port.Don't worry about response time as you can see from this explanation"Motion blur created by the movement of your eyes actually becomes such a significant factor on 60Hz monitors that pixel responses only really need to be around 8ms for trailing from the pixel responses to be ‘invisible’. The measurements given by manufacturers aren’t that useful because pixel transition times vary depending on the shades involved in the transition. They also don’t account for how the responses are achieved (i.e. the ‘pixel overdrive’ which can lead to overshoot/inverse ghosting as seen most clearly if you crank up the overdrive setting on the AOC)."I don’t think you need to worry about responsiveness being ‘slow’ because of the figures given by manufacturers.
