Monitor or GPU failure? My display seems to show a degraded image, sort of like a drop in resolution and the color shifts from normal on the left side to a red hue on the right side. I've reset the monitor setting via the OSD and reinstalled the GPU driver. Any ideas what is causing this?

Gigabyte GTX 970 G1
LG 23" 1080p monitor (sry don't have the model on hand)

Without trying one or the other with something else it can be either. Monitor different computer or GPU different monitor.

Thanks, was afraid someone would suggest this. I don't really have the hardware to test it out. Would testing with a video benchmark test help figure this out?

Not really but a laptop can be connected to the monitor to test it.

Thanks! Didn't really think of using a laptop. Turns out it was the monitor.
