Hi guys, i just bought a gpu (asus gtx 1050 oc expedition edition) for my build. But now i realise that it doesn't have vga port for my old monitor (max resolution is 1440). So would it be fine if i couple my pc with my tv (32inch bravia r300e) instead of vga monitor? Or should i suffice with hdmi- vga converter? Anyway i can't afford new monitor now. So which is the better choice? What should i do?

Cpu: g4560
Ram: adata 8gb 2133
Mobo: gigabyte b250m ds3h
Psu: antec vp450
Gpu: gtx1050 asus expedition oc

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. So anyway is it worthwhile to try connecting with my tv as the gpu has good resolution potential? Or is the performance going to be sloppy? If i should try, what must be the screen resolution set to?
