Monitor or TV for PS4+PC gaming

Hello. My samsung tv just died, and i will get a new one soon. I ve heard that IPS panels have much faster response rates than TVs. I game mainly on ps4,but also on PC. Is there any tech savvy dude here who can help me get a good monitor or tv?

It really dependent on your budget and preference for size. Yes monitor are generally faster but will cost more and will generally be smaller.
