Monitor or video card

Purchased gaming computer with GTX 1060 video card. When I try to play Warface I get a black screen and it says "no video input" change to 1600X900. I have to manually turn computer off to clear the screen The monitor is already set at that size. Everything else I do works fine. Is it a bad video card or monitor? Monitor is HP 2009M. Does that card take a special gaming monitor to work? Reinstalled the game and that made no difference. Thanks

Every thing is fine. Game needs reinstall. And again download drivers and install. Install all VS redist and latest Direct X update.

I was facing this while playing call of duty AW.
