Monitor OSD won't go away.

Hello. A couple months ago the wife was cleaning and decided to spray my monitor with Windex and clean it. She sprayed too much on the screen and it ran down in the bezel where the buttons are. Immediately the monitor acted funny and started opening up the menu and going through settings but it stopped pretty quickly and has been seemingly fine, aside from a button being sticky.

Now suddenly the menu keeps popping up on its own, and if I press buttons, regardless of what buttons I press it goes into brightness, then back out, then down to exit, then it exits the menu. Problem is, a minute or so later, the menu appears again. After I do this so many times it will display a box on the screen that says OSD lockout. If I power the monitor off then back on the menu will appear again a few times then eventually OSD lockout again.

I know that it is a problem with the buttons themselves, because no amount of resetting the monitor and/or unplugging it has helped.

Is it possible to take apart the monitor and unplug the PCB that holds all of the buttons? Will the monitor still work if I do that? I already have the monitor settings how I like them, and don't ever use the menu for anything.

OK... See if this works:

Fix #1:
1. Unplug monitor and PRESS & HOLD Power Button for 60 seconds
2. After 60 seconds Plug the monitor back in...

Fix #2:
1. Turn on monitor and hold Menu Button for 30 seconds
