Monitor 'Out of range' while playing games

Hi,

My monitor will always black out, and show a 'out of range' message when I play Csgo, it only occurs on this game and mostly (around 95%) happens during map loading, not actual game play.

Ways I have tried to fix the problem:
-forcing the game to start on 1920x1080 resolution on the game launch options in steam
-setting the refresh rate at 100 on the game launch options in steam (this worked for about two days)
-physically resetting my gpu card

My specs are:
CPU - i5 4670k
RAM - Corsair 2x4gb DDR3
Mobo - Gigabyte Z87X-D3H LGA 1150
Gpu - Asus GTX 770-DC2OC-2GD5 2GB GDDR5
PSU - Corsair AX860 860W
Monitor - Asus VG248QE 24 144Hz 1ms (using the dual link cable)

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

If it's only in the one game, check for patches and updated drivers for the card. Turn on vsync if it's not on for that game.

I have the latest update for my graphics card and turned vsync on but the problem still persists. Im planning on changing to a HDMI cable and see how that goes.
