Right now i have a monitor which runs natively at 1920x1080 60 hertz, i wanted to try overclocking it. In the nvidia control panel there is an option for 1024x768 75 hertz by default, I chose it and it runs fine, however i wanted to try experimenting with it and so i setup a custom resolution and tried increasing the hertz until the monitor crashed. I found out that the limit is 95 hertz but the moment i go above 75 hertz the monitor says out of range, but everything works fine there are no visual artifacts or any heating problems but considering that the monitor says out of range does the overclock really work and is there a way to test it?
