Question monitor overclocking on laptop

so i am trying to over clock my monitor on my laptop which is a GE62 7rd apache and i downloaded CRU and i just cant get my monitor to change from 60hz and i dont know what im doing wrong... it shows up as a generic pnp monitor

Can you pas son the SKU to your laptop? Which version of the display do you have? FHD or UHD? You might want to read through this thread.
