So I got a cheap monitor. (and im not planning on buying a new one.)
It supports 1366x768 max resu and runs 75hz on 1024x768 and below.
So I wanna play on 1280x1024 but it only supports 1366x768, 1280x720, 1024x768, 832x624, and 800x600.
And then my friend told me to use CRU and basically add 1280x1024 to the menu. Okay.
And here is my question.
"Does using 'Unsupported resu(s) (ie. 1280x1024 in my case)' damage my monitor?"
If not,
"Are there any drawbacks/side effects by using said 'Unsupported resu(s)"
PS. I dont care much about image quality, I can play csgo on 640x480 all day as long as i get 60-80fps out of my crappy hardware. And also I'm broke, soo.. It is what it is.
And also add me on valorant Luft Waffen SS #00000
