Monitor Power Cycling

My monitor began to power cycle (turn off for a second then turn back on by itself) a week or two ago, what seemed pretty randomly at the time. I currently have 2 AOCs and 1 Acer, all 23" 1920x1080 LED's hooked up to my GTX 660 TI.

One of the AOCs is power cycling, but I've come to realize that it's when there's an abundance of the color black on the screen (dark wallpaper, fullscreen game on the middle monitor that leaves the other two blank, etc.). If I have a bright window up on it, then it will not power cycle at all.

I've tried switching it to a different port on the graphics card, using the VGA input, and switching power cords with the identical AOC which didn't make any difference.

I'm very curious about this and want to see if there's anything I can do to fix it since I'd hate to ship it to New Jersey to RMA it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a power saving feature having problems or there is a fault in the monitor's internal psu. If the problem is a fault then it is likely linked to a ongoing thermal issue, likely a cracked joint that closes when warmed up (at higher load).

Tinker with it and if nothing helps at all then look into RMA, shipping will hurt!

I haven't been able to stop it from happening after toying with some settings. I just don't understand why it's fine unless there's a window or something with an abundance of black on it, in which case it power cycles. I can have it up and running for hours, but as soon as I change the windows so that there's a large amount of black on the screen, it cycles.
