When I plug power adapter for my monitor it gives flash of brand logo and before it moves to the next stage of checking gpu signal it turns off. instead of going to standby mode if computer is not powered on it turns off monitor screen and the the little led indicator and right after it starts again. this cycle continues over and over.
This happened before only took 5 minutes to fix itself and go into standby mode. then few days it was functioning normally, but today I had to wait for 20 minutes before it stopped acting up like this. I changed power cable before but the problem reoccurred.
what are the usual causes for such problems?
