I have a HP Pavilion desktop which I just purchased in May this year. I am
now waiting for my THIRD new monitor. It is a 17" flat panel. After I am on
the computer for anywhere from 50 min. to 2 hours the colors go "crazy" and
the print is so fuzzy I can't read it. I called tech support and they said
they would send me a new monitor which will be my third. I also sent an
email to HP and they seem to think it is the onboar video card. The colors
to to shades of pink, purple, green, blue, aqua and everythin inbetween. Has
anyone else had a similar problem?

Attach the computer to a different, known-working monitor. Work as usual
and see what happens. If you experience the same problems then you know
that your original monitor is fine and the culprit is the video card.
If you don't have another monitor, then take the computer to a friend's
or to a local computer repair shop.
