Monitor problem

Help! There's this problem on my monitor. When I am running my mac mini plugged into hdmi 2 port it works fine. When I turn my pc on, in hdmi 1 the monitor seams as if it was losing signal but it's not. My pc on hdmi 1 works, when i plug my mac mini into hdmi 1 and run both computers, it works. I think it has something to do the hdmi 2 port not allowing two comps to run at the same time. I havn't tested this with DVI because I don't have a normal DVI cable to use with the converter for mac mini. PLEASE HELP! It would help me a lot. I would be grateful. Thanks!

If both are running at once and the monitor is set to autodetect it could be acting odd. Either manually specify, use a switcher or only run one at a time.

If its an off then on then off then on intermittant issue it could be a bad cable/conversion/adapter.
