Monitor problem

Hello

I have a samsung SyncMaster P2450 24" montior that randomly turns itself on even though i have shut down my pc. I have to actually turn it off again otherwise it just stays on. I noticed this when i was watching tv on a few occasions because i'm always getting up to turn it off again lol. I've searched google but have had no luck all it says is about monitors turning off when i have the opposite problem. My computer is not sleeping i actually shut it down. Anyone know why it is doing this?

A bit worrying I agree, but better than it turning OFF randomly. Simple solution is to turn off power at the wall.

Yes I know that is a solution but to do that I have to move heavy furniture to get to the plugs.

Use a power lead extension box which has a switch ?
