Monitor question, and suggestion

The monitor dimensions are read as WxHxD, what is the depth? What do you exactly measure when you measure depth

And which monitor should i go with, the ASUS VW266H Black 25.5

Asus is cheaper but the samsung seems more reliable

Depth is measurement from the front panel to the back of the monitor. How DEEP the monitor is.

I'd choose the top one as its cheaper and has only a 2ms response time!!

i looked at asu's reviews and alot of them point to it having dead pixels in the middle of the screen

Where exactly do you buy stands for the monitor? I still have to think about which one.
