[SOLVED] Monitor randomly pauses

So I recently bought an Aorus AD27QD monitor, I’ve been noticing that there are random pauses no matter what I have running in the monitor, be it Netflix or a any video game, I don’t know how to explain it other than the video running suddenly is delayed for a split second which makes it jump to the next scene suddenly, and it’s very noticeable if I’m watching something fast paced. I couldn’t find anything online...

Also using a 1080ti if that matters.

Frame skips is what’s happening, I think. Imagine playing a YouTube video and all of a sudden it pauses for a second but then continues from that second skipped. Anyone has any Ideas?

It was solved by updating drivers and switching to 144 hz in the Nvidia settings.
