I'm trying to find a good monitor for general use (browsing, editing, reading, programming) that has a glossy display and which I will hook to my notebook and use as an external monitor. I already tried two monitors, the second being a dell ultrasharp which I found to have a very grainy image on light colors and that bothers me. Anyway, now I'm looking for a glossy monitor (and I have a really hard time finding a glossy monitor except for the apple monitors which are out of the question).
I don't think I care at this point if it's an IPS or TN, I just care that it has good colors and not a grainy image. I'm using it in a room where glare is absolutely no problem.
My only requirement is that the screen be 21" - 22" with a resolution of 1920x1080 or x1200 (16:10).
