Monitor Recommendation

I recently built a new computer and got mostly new things except for the monitor. My current one is a Gateway 15" flatscreen with a max resolution of 1024x768 and some other unknown specs. With my focus primarily on gaming, what would be a pretty nice monitor in the 19-21" region?

If it matters, video card is a Nvidia 7950, and the other parts are up to speed as well.

hi.
since your primary focus are games you want a monitor with fast response time 2-4 ms.
you can have a look at viewsonic vx922 with 2ms response time
and good reviews.

you are right about crt monitors and lcd.
as for responce time manufactures always giving values
that aren't presenting in normal conditions.
when they they say a responce time of 2ms it is the lowest value than can this
monitor get but the highest would be as 10ms or more.

Be careful with Viewsonic. The monitors are ok as long as they work ok. Customer service is horrible. Two weeks and I still don't have a replacement for my VP912B under their 'Express" exchange program. They did offer me a lower spec'd monitor, which I of course declined.
