Monitor recommendations please

Running a single Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970 currently, looking into purchasing a 1440p 24-27" monitor. I would like it to have at least 100 Hz refresh rate, a nice stand, and shoot for <$1000. Any recommendations are welcome, TN vs IPS panel not a big deal.

This is one of the best ones out there. This is your go to monitor when you have money to spend and high standards

EDIT: One thing to note is that you only have a 970. Some games (especially newer ones) will either have to be played at 1080P, or at lower settings at 1440.

That won't be a problem because 1440p and 1080p scale nicely.
