I recently completed Mafia III. I noticed a graphics issue and I am not sure what to attribute it to.
I have an i7-6700K and a GFX 970. I was playing the game with the NVidia GeForce Optimized settings. I am running HDMI out to a Samsung S24D300. Resolution was set at 1920x1080
During the cut scenes / movies, I could watch the screen draw from time to time. It was very fast, but it was noticeable. What I mean is I could see the next frame quickly overlay on top of the last frame. The screen did not go entirely black into frames or anything like that.
I had V-Sync on.
I'm not sure if it was a refresh rate issue on the monitor, or the graphics card trying to render too much.
What are some of the settings that I should try to adjust? Anti-Aliasing? VSync?
