Monitor refresh rate

I am getting new parts for my PC which includes a motherboard, Graphics Card, CPU, and new RAM sticks... I have a 60hz monitor and was wondering if I should be worried about screen tearing while playing games. Thanks!

Depends on what new hardware you're getting. If you're getting hardware capable of pushing more than 60fps then, yes, you'll get some screen tearing.

Moot point if you turn on v-sync, though.

That would depend entirely on your other components, particularly the GPU
