Question Monitor Requires USB-C DP Alt Mode - Host Computer Doesn't have .. Options?

Hey all, I have a monitor (this monitor) that requires USB-C DP Alt Mode on host device. My new computer has no such thing.

What I do have is:

• Three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports with Power on/Wake-up Support
• One USB 3.1 Gen 2 port with PowerShare
• One USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C) port
• One HDMI 1.4b port and
• One HDMI-In 1.4b port

Anyway to get one of these ports to throw a USB-C DP signal?

No. Either the USB-C port has alt-mode or it doesn't.

At best you can do is HDMI -> DP -> USB-C. I'm also led to believe direction matters, so you can't use a USB-C to DP cable, it must be a DP to USB-C cable (or a bidirectional one)
